The Department of Electrical Engineering offers graduate programs leading to the Master of Engineering (M.Eng.) and the Master of Science (M.S.) degree. The department maintains strong research emphases in systems engineering, controls, power systems, wireless telecommunication systems, and applied electromagnetics. The M.S. degree is offered under both the thesis and non-thesis options. The department participates in the Combined Engineering Degree program and the school-wide Engineering Ph.D. program.
